Shipyard

The shipyard is where you can browse bigger and better ships, and purchase them using credits.

Ships that appear in the shipyard are randomly generated, and in some cases ports might not have any ships for sale at all.

Ships have 4 main base stats, Laser Power, Speed, Hull Strength and Shield Strength. They will also have a random number of Add-ons and Upgrades fitted. This will affect the stats of the ship.

Be aware, a ship with all the upgrades fitted cannot be upgraded any further and so might not be as good as a ship with slightly lower stats and no upgrades. Once upgraded, they can end up more powerful.

Once you purchase a ship, you lose all add-ons and upgrades for your current ship, and any cargo you have in the hold.
